For an anti-racist agroecology | Cantos do Sabiá
João Lucas França – Broadcaster and communicator for the Sabiá Center.

There is no agroecology with racism. This is one of the flagships of agroecology: the fight against racism. But it’s not enough just not to be racist – you have to be anti-racist!
We need to fight racism head-on: in the structure, in everyday life, in agroecology. Through agroecology – and the ancestral knowledge that is mixed with this practice every day – we can build a countryside free of poisons, vices and racism.
For an anti-racist agroecology! Let’s talk about how to build this struggle. And it is to talk about this very important topic that today we have invited researcher Fran Paula – Quilombola Amefricana, Agronomist, Master in Public Health. She is part of CONAQ’s environment and agriculture collective and the Anti-Racist Scientific Alliance.

Cantos do Sabiá is the Sabiá Center Podcast! Every week we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
